NORLAND UNIVERSITY OF EARLY YEARS EDUCATION “MORE THAN A JOB” 2025
Emily was tasked with creating a suite of films, featuring students (both present and former) studying at the world famous University of Early Years Education: Norland, and the toddlers and babies in their care.
The film showcases and celebrates the incredibly rigorous and unparalleled level of training that Norland Nannies undergo, as well as sharing the unique joy of the institution, and the care and expertise of its staff. Filmed on location in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath, home of Norland University, the aim was to increase engagement and applications - in particular from young males and those who might not have considered Nannying a serious, fulfilling and secure profession-for-life.
“We worked with Emily on a set of new promotional films for Norland to showcase the incredible student experience and unrivalled graduate outcomes we offer. During the pre-production phase, Emily understood our brief and brand effortlessly while also challenging us to explore creative avenues to bring the film to life. She was constantly accessible, highly organised and provided clear communication throughout.
When it came to filming, Emily and her crew were professional, courteous and respectful of students and staff – fully aware that they were working within a live learning environment. Above all, what stood out most during the filming was Emily’s exceptional ability to tell a story. Whether capturing the opening hero shot or a small piece of b-roll, she approached every frame with intention and a clear sense of narrative.
The result was a series of impactful, powerful and poignant videos that truly got to the heart of Norland – our training, the nurturing and inclusive community, and the rewarding career that our graduates enjoy. These films have broadened our reach, engaged new prospective students and helped convert applications while also reinforcing a sense of pride among our student and graduate community.
We’re incredibly grateful to Emily and her team for their tireless, enthusiastic and passionate work on this project, and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with her in the future as we continue sharing the Norland story.”
